Clerical Appointments

In the Diocese of Southwark the Rev. Michael Beirne, assistant priest at Beckenham, has been recalled to his own diocese (Elphin). The Rev, Vincent Ryan has been transferred from Portslade to the curacy at Plumstead, and the Rev. Thomas Murphy goes as assistant priest at Portslade, his place at Worcester Park being filled by the Rev. William Donoghue, lately assistant at Plumstead.

The Rev. John Lavin, C.F., previously at the R.A.F. camp at Henlow, Bedfordshire, has been appointed chaplain to the R.A.F. station at Cranwell, in succession to the Rev. Denis Blackburn, C.F., placed on retired pay.

The Rev. David B. Walsh is the new chaplain at Twyford Abbey,
