TAKE PERSONAL INTEREST IN P.O.W.

—Bishop to Priests "I appeal to you all to take a personal interest in the German prisoners who are unjustly suffering a prolonged captivity in this country." So writes Mgr. Ellis, Bishop of Nottingham, in a letter to the priests of the diocese.

"You can do this," says the Bishop, " by inviting them into Catholic homes, visiting them, supplying, them with Catholic newspapers and books. It would also be very helpful to inform your people that parcels of food and clothing may now be sent through the post to individuals abroad."

The Bishop also draws his priests' attention to the appeal that has been made, to British Catholic families to receive undernourished Austrian children into their homes for a period of eight weeks.
