Educational Post for Fr. H. Beckwith, W.F.

The Rev. Harold Beckwith, W.F., has been appointed Secretary for Education to His Lordship Bishop Michaud, Vicar Apostolic of Uganda, in succession to Rev. Arthur Hughes, W.F., who has been appointed Apostolic Administrator of the vicariate of Equatorial Nile.

Several thousands of native Christians from Nyasaland have joined the King's African Rifles, and to ensure their spiritual welfare the following British and Canadian White Fathers have also joined the regiment : Frs. Hovington, McGhee, Nixon, St. Denis, Vezeau, and Dufresne.
