OLDEST CHRISTIAN BROTHER IN AUSTRALIA The Rev. Brother Michael Baptist Flood. a native of Dublin, and the oldest Christian Brother in Australia, who has died, was 66 years in religion and was 85 years of age. His tutor at school was the Rev. Bro. J. A. O'Mahony, the oldest Christian Brother in the world.
Brother Flood spent the last twenty years of his life at St. Patrick's College, Launceston. He celebrated his diamond jubilee in 1934.
