Mgr. Hinsley, Archbishop of Westminster, has made a special appeal to the children in connection with the great Catholic Social Action Rally to be held in the Albert Hall on September 30.
In a letter to the children he writes: " I want you to tell your daddies and mummies and big brothers and sisters that there will be a great meeting of Catholics in the Albert Hall on September 30 at 8 o'clock in the evening. Tell them to ask the priest for tickets and to come along and join in a big act of Faith."
The Catholic Herald is informed that the unprecedented demand for tickets makes it advisable for the clergy and heads of groups to ask for an exact number of tickets so that none may be wasted.
In addition to the speeches of the Archbishops of Westminster and Birmingham, Mr. Sheed and Mr. John Heenan, Mr. Alfred Noyes and Mr. P. Taggart, President of the Public Service Committee of Catholic Action in the Archdiocese of Liverpool, will move and second the vote of thanks.
Tickets may be obtained from the Central Bureau, Catholic Demonstration, 120, Victoria Street, S.W.1.
(The demonstration is commented on, on page 8.)
