ST. TERESA'S EXTENSION IS OPENED

YESTERDAY (Thursday) the "1Lady Dorothy Macmillan was due to open the new extension to St. Teresa's Maternity Hospital, Wimbledon-the third major extension to the hospital to be cornpleted during the last 10 years.
Over 8,000 mothers have given birth to babies at the hospital during the last decade, and nearly all of them have returned for sub sequent babies. The running costs of the hospital are kept very low. since most of the nursing and all the administrative work is done by the Sisters of St. Anne, while the consultant staff give their services an a honorarium basis.
