Franciscan Provincial re-elected

JUSTIN McLOUGHLIN,
0.F.M.; who became Provincial of the English province of the Franciscan Friars Minor in 1951 when he was 42, was re-elected for six years at the triennial elections held at the Forest Gate Friary in London.
Presiding at the elections was the Visitator General from Rome, Fr.
Apollinaris van Lecuwen. Prefect of Studies and Director of Education for
the whole Franciscan Order.
Fr. Cuthbert McNulty was elected Custos, and Pr. John Eterchmans Dockery, Fr. Adrian McNulty, Fr. Charles Murphy, and Fr. Hugh McKay were elected Definitors of the province.
The Regular Superiors of the two foreign missions of the English province were re-elected-Fr. Fidelis Magee for Bellary-Rombay, and Fr. Christopher Ullyatt for Ermelo, South Africa.
For the 19 houses of the English province the following were elected Guardian and Vicar respectively :

STRATFOIRD: Fr. Romuald Eddy and Fr. Adrian McCudden.
CLEVEDON: Fr. Norbert Holland and Fr. Edwin Sheehan.
CHII WORTH: Fr. Jerome Sheehan and Fr. Philip Keys.
Bruarot.: Fr. Michael Halliday and Fr. Oswald O'Donnell.
WOODFORD: Fr. Rudolf Crawford and Fr. Valerian Pieroni. ASCOT: Fr. Martin Cawley and Fr. HiJary McDonagh.
