ARCHBISHOP GR1MSHAW of Birmingham, in a message to the clergy recalling the Battle of Britain, says that widespread desire for peace could never cause men to blind themselves to the consequences of war. "Indeed, to neglect the needs of the dependents of war-casualties would he to betray the trust bequeathed to us by those who gave their fixes in pursuit of world peace," said the Archbishop. He added that, so far as members of the Royal Air Force were concerned. Battle of Britain Sunday. which falls this year on September 15. served as an annual reminder. The Archbishop then pointed out that support of the R.A.F. Benevolent Fund was an obvious and most suitable was. in which expression could be given to the gratitude all must feel.
