TELE/RECEPTIONIST PLUS

This is the shop window of the Catholic Herald. A good voice and pleasant manners are essential.

Reporting to the circulation manager, we are looking for someone who is comfortable and competent using a small switchboard (Octara/Merlinl, and has typing and keyboard skills with particular reference to the AppleMac computer.

Working as part of a small team, the job is primarily tele/reception, but also to assist the Circulation Manager in maintaining orders from wholesalers, supplying extra and missing copies and keeping office stock labels. You will deal with all outgoing mail, using a postal franking machine and order and keep records of the use of external suppliers such as courier services and Red Star.

Salary according to age and experience.
