THE public prosecutor in Barcelona recently ordered the seizure of the January 26 issue of the hi-monthly magazine Cedade (Spanish Circle of Friends of Europe) for printing three articles considered "harmful and blasphemous to the Catholic religion and capable of causing public disorder."
The magazine's managing editor has been ordered to appear before judicial authorities.
This action follows a 11,500 fine on the evening newspaper Madrid for an editorial critical of General Franco's political power.
