NATIONAL SOCIALIST CULTURE Christian Names

The campaign to abolish Christian names in Germany is being pushed steadily forward by the nee-pagans. One of the mountains on the Weser, near Minden, was called Mount Jacob. It has now been changed to Mount Arminus.
Morality Trials Farce
The failure of the Nazi " morality " trials campaign against the Church can be gauged from the fact that, up to the beginning of August, the Courts were only able to condemn 74 religious and secular priests on such charges. The total number of religious and secular priests in Germany, according to the Catholic paper Der Deutsche Weg, is 122,792. The justice of such condemnas tions as the Nazis were able to obtain is more than suspect.
Bishop and Fr. Coughlin
Father Coughlin, the American " RadioPriest " withdrew on Saturday night, October 9, from a broadcasting contract when he failed to get his Bishop's approval for one of his statements for publication.
Mgr. Mooney, Archbishop of Detroit, is the successor of Archbishop Gallagher, who died last July, and who gave considerable moral support to Fr. Coughlin.
Mgr. Mooney recently reproved Fr. Coughlin for saying that President Roosevelt had shown " personal stupidity " in his appointment of Senator Black to the U.S. Supreme Court.
