Consecration of Mgr. Tickle

Catholic Herald Correspondent Mgr. Gerard Tickle. who has been Rector of Rome's English College since 1952, will be consecrated Bishop in-Ordinary to H.M. Forces by Scottish-born Cardinal Heard in the college chapel on November 30. Co-consecrators will be Archbishop Heenan of Westminster, and Bishop Graser, of Shrewsbury, to which diocese Mgr. Tickle belonged.

Cardinal Heard has lived in the English College for many years and is a close friend of Mgr. Tickle, who, after consecration, will have the rank of titular Bishop of Bela. He is 54.
