Nine extremist Orthodox Jewish youths have been fined £55 at Haifa, Israel, for their forcible entry into a Protestant school on September 10. The convicted youths forced their way into the school on the same day that hundreds of other youths staged protests against Catholic and Protestant schools in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Last month ten rioters were convicted in Jaffa. They were fined £11 to £22 and given suspended jail sentences of six months.
