Brian Wicker, the Catholic writer. is to be the nevi, principal of Fircroft College, Birmingham, Fircroft is one of the eight colleges in the Selly Oak Federation which attract students from all parts of the world. Brian Wicker has lectured at Birmingham University since 1960, and presently holds a senior lectureship in English literature.
