Pope Paul's order

wJ. MORGAN of Rugby • writes (August 8) that if Pope Paul orders us to accept the Missa Normativa he will, of course, do so. But on April 3 Pope Paul did precisely this.
On page 12 of Ord() Missae, issued by the Vatican Press, the Pope commands that the 1969 Roman Missal shall have the force of law. On Page 8 he says that it was the wish of Pope Pius XII that the Roman Missal should be rearranged to help people today. This he has now done. It is no longer Normativa. It is our same Mass, to be used in Latin or vernacular.
