WESTMINSTER The appointment is announced of the Very Rev. J. P. Adamson, D.D., Ph.D., as Canon of the Chapter of Westminster, in place of Canon Curtis who has resigned, Canon Curtis has been appointed an Honorary Canon.

SOUTHWARK During the absence of the Rev. Cornelius O'Donoghue on sick leave, the Rev. Charles McElwee will act as Vicarius Substitutus at Gravesend.

The Rev. Francis Bayliss is going to the Convent of the Daughters of the Cross, at

Haslemere, as chaplain. His place as assistant at Woolwich will be taken by the Rev. Thomas MacHale, who has been On supply at Camberwell.

The Rev. Leonard Carroll goes from Shottermill to Preston Park.
