On Saturday, October 1, an interesting presentation was made at The House of Vanheems, 47-48, Berners Street, London, W.I. The gift was a gold watch to Mr. J. G. Prescott, in appreciation of his twentyfive years' loyal service with the firm, the presentation being made by Mr. Sidney M. Vanheems, the managing director.
This is the fifty-seventh occasion showing in the firm's records of members of the staff completing a quarter of a century's service, twenty-two of whom are still with the firm.
