Dorn Leo Ehrbard, for 46 years Abbot of the Cistercian Abbey of Tre Fontane, near Rome, died at midnight on Saturday. Born in Alsace in 1866, he was elected Abbot in 1900. In the past four years he has been living as a simple monk scrupulously observing the rule in complete obedience to the superiors.
