The church halt which Bishop Cowderoy is to open on December 22 on the new Surrey housing estate of Bellfields, Sutton Park, is to be
named the Challoner after the celebrated Bishop Challoner, Vicar Apostolic of the London District.
Bishop Challoner administered Confirmation at Sutton Place, then the home of the Westons, in 1741. Bellfields is served from Sutton Park, whose parish priest is the Rev. Dr. Gordon Albion.
