Condensed Milk For Spain

Can You Spare 71d. ?

There is urgent need of condensed milk for the chiildren in the

recovered districts of Spain. It is anticipated that unlimited amounts will be required for the large towns where food has been scarce, especially Valencia.

Readers of the CATHOLIC HERALD can help. If each reader will send us a P.O. or stamps to the value of 'het. the price of a tin (or better still Is.) we shall order the milk wholesale from the makers and forward lit by sea to the appealing authority by whom it will be used solely for the children who are daily coming under Nationalist administration.

Five thousand, ten thousand, twenty thousand tins—which shall it be? Each tin will bring nourishment to an innocent child who has been suffering privation and even starvation for weeks.

This special appeal is to meet the inevitable emergency during the period of transfer. In time the children of Spain will all be able to enjoy the benefits of an orderly and peaceful administration.

Make one child happier and stronger by your gift this Easter.
