MARTINDALE Letter' Took Three Months to Arrive From Denmark

" Kindest message to the • Catholic Herald ' and Universe '," so Fr. C. C. Martindale used up eight whole words of the twenty-live he was allowed in a letter to Mrs. F. W. Spencer Bull which has just reached England.

The rest of the letter confirms reports already received at Farm Street, that Fr. Martindale is well and still at the Jesuit House in Copenhagen.

The letter reached Mrs. Spencer Bull, with whom in good works in the East End Fr. Martindale was closely associated, via the Red Cross of Geneva.

It has taken over three months to do the journey from Denmark via 'Switzerland to England.
