OBITUARY

Fr. Eugene Langdale
Fr. Eugene Langdale. a pioneer of Catholic social work in England and a close friend of the late Cardinal Cardijn, who founded the Young Christian Workers' Movement, died on Tuesday, aged 58, at his parish, St. Thomas More's, Fastecne, Middlesex. He was ordained in 1934.
Fr. Langdale was instrumental with others in bringing the Y.C.W. Movement to England. During the war he was an Army chaplain.
Rev. Mother Windle
Rev. Mother Windic. of the Faithful Companions of Jesus, on Sunday at St. Aloysius' Convent, Phoenix Road. London. N.W.1. She was 52 and had been professed for 51 years. She was Superior General of the Order from 1947 until 1966.
