CHAPEL

The new chapel for the Canonesses of St, Augustine at Hoddesdon, Herts, was officially opened recently when Bishop Cashman presided at High Mass celebrated by the parish priest, Fr. John Long

staff. The ninny visitors packed both side chapels. The high altar is pictured above. Mgr. Canon Bickford, the Priory's Ecclesiastical Superior. Men Butcher, President of St. Edmund's College, Ware, and Fr, Whitehead, C.R.L., a former parish priest of Hoddesdon were among the clergy present in the sanctuary.
