Italian Foreign Minister in Vienna

Continuing his Central European tour, Count Ciano, the Italian Foreign Minister, has arrived in Vienna on an official visit to the Austrian Government It is thought that the new Leto-German orientation is the main item on the agenda. After the Italo-Austrian talks M. de Kenya, the Hungarian Foreign Minister, arrived in Vienna and talks continued between the representatives of all three nations. Count Ciano is proceeding to Budapest on an official visit to the Hungarian Government, and later Admiral Horthy, the Regent of Hungary, will come to Rome as the guest of King Victor Emmanuel. Dr. Schmitt, the Austrian Foreign Minister, is also planning a visit to Berlin early in 1937, partly as a result of Count Ciano's visit and the improved Austro-German relations.
