'FREE BISHOP' SAY M.P.s

A MOTION protesting against ' the imprisonment of Bishop Kung Pin-mei of Shanghai, American-born Bishop Walsh, and 12 Chinese priests by the Chinese Communist Government has been tabled in the House of Commons by two Catholic Labour M.P.s: Mr. Simon Mahon (Bootle) and Mr. David Logan (Liverpool, Scotland).

The motion calls upon the British Government to "press immediately for the release of these innocent men" and for the cessation of organised religious persecution.
