Lifeline

AMONG cheques which have come to me for aid to the refugees in South Vietnam was one this week for £50. Like so many others it came from Ireland, in response to some very welcome publicity given to our appeal in the form of advertisements inserted in two Irish papers by Fr. Robert Nash, S.J.

All told, more than £220 has come to us here and vastly more has gone direct to Archbishop's House. Wesminster.

That money will be used to aid those who have left everything in the Communist North in order to live in the free South where, troubled as it is, they can still practise their Catholic Faith unhindered.

No, international solidarity is not exclusive to the Communists.
