A COLLECTION of secret letters between Elizabethan Catholic priests in England and their colleagues abroad is being sold at Sotheby's on July 17. The collection has been preserved by a Catholic family since the French Revolution. The writers include Cardinal Allen, Robert Parsons and George Blackwell, first Archpriest of England.
