in Yugoslavia for holding a prayer service at Medjugorje, the village where six local youths have reported seeing visions of Mary. Fr Pietro Villasanta was arrested on June 30 and was later found guilt of participating in a prohibited religious demonstration. The Yugoslav Government hos closed the hillside site where the apparitions were originally seen, but pilgrims are allowed to visit the nearby St James' Church in Medjugorje.
