3,000 POLISH STUDENTS IN BRITAIN

Of all the free countries of the world Great Britain is the most important centre for the education of young exiled Poles. Many thousands of Polish children arc now receiving an education, thanks to the efforts of the Committee for the Education of Poles in Great Britain.

This committee has also obtained Treasury funds for scholarships for 3,000 Polish students, 1,600 of them students at higher schools. The Polish University College in London alone includes 900 students.

Nine hundred and fifty are studying engineering, 350 economics and commerce, 280 architecture, 222 textiles. Others are taking medicine. and dentistry.
