Preaching in Cologne Cathedral, the Cardinal said: " The worst part of the report I received said that the main aim of youth education in the Russian zone should be education towards atheism."
No Catholic youth organisations, he said are allowed to exist in Eastern Germany. " Not even strictly religious meetings can be held safely."
