Franciscans' new Vicar-General

Fr, Constantine Cozer, a Brazilian, has been appointed Vicar General of the Order of Friars Minor (Franciscans) pending the election of a new Minister-General to succeed Fr. Augustine Sepinski, O.F.M.
Early last month the Pope created Fr. Sepinski Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestine. Fr. Cozer will have the powers hut not the prestige of MinisterGeneral. A new Minister-General will be elected in 1967 for a 12-year term. The order, founded in 1209, has 27.000 members.
