The colourful setting of a cricket field adorned with flags and bunting and glowing in the evening sun awaited the Bishop of Southwark when he presided on the Feast of Corpus at an open-air Mass at St. George's College. Weybridge.
After Mass Bishop Cowderoy carried the Blessed Sacrament in procession to the college chapel and gave Benediction. On leaving the chapel he held an informal reception on the cricket field.
