POPE BENEDICT’S brother, Mgr Georg Ratzinger, was briefly hospitalised on August 3 with an irregular heartbeat. He stayed overnight in Rome’s Gemelli Hospital, where he was given a pacemaker, and was reported to be recovering quickly. Mgr Ratzinger has been staying with his brother, the Pope, at the summer residence in Castel Gandolfo.
