By a special Parliamentary Bill Fr. Heinrich Roos, a Danish Jesuit, is to be allowed to enter Norway to lecture on " Kierkegaard and Catholicism " to the Catholic Forum in Oslo—providing he doesn't " undertake any propaganda for the Jesuit Order."
The Norwegian Constitution of 1814 contains a resolution against the admission of Jesuits to the country and also prohibitions against " monkish orders " and Jews.
The ban is due to be discussed in the Norwegian Parliament next year. Some observers expect that the restrictions will he lifted.
