THE bishops commitment to ecumenism and minority groups is reflected in their diaries for the coming week.

Bishop John Crowley, auxiliary in Westminster, celebrates mass with the Filipino community at Our Lady of Victories in central London on Sunday. Bishop Daniel Mullins of Menevia says mass in Welsh at Ammanford the same day.

Bishop Cormac MurphyO'Connor of Arundel and Brighton addresses the ecumenical Cana Movement in Malta on their 35th anniversary on Monday. Bishop Patrick Kelly of Salford attends the Greater Manchester County Ecumenical Council on Tuesday morning.

Bishop Mervyn Alexander of Clifton preaches at Taunton Council of Churches Christian Unity Service at St George's, Taunton on Sunday evening.

On Thursday Bishop Leo McCartie of Northampton attends a similarly inter-church service at Corby.

Archbishop Derek Worlock of Liverpool attends a serve for Christian Unity at the parish church in Warrington en Friday. On the same day, Archbishop Michael Bowen of Southwark attends the Unity Octave Service at the Southwark Anglican cathedral while Bishop Charles Henderson, auxiliary in Southwark, attends the London Ecumenical Leaders' Prayer Service for Unity.
