Requiem Mass for leading Welsh educationalist

REQLTIEM Mass was concelebrated at St. Bride's Church, Pontardulais, Swansea, by the parish priest, Fr. Patrick 'Twomey. and six priests of the Archdiocese of Cardiff, prior to the funeral of Miss Wilhemina Seingry. Miss Seingry, headmistress of St. David's Infants' School, Swansea, for quarter of a century, died following injuries received in a road accident.

She had been on the teaching staff of St. David's for the past 43 years, and was due to retire at the end of the present school term. She was a leading figure in Catholic education circles, and received the Bene Merenti Medal from the Pope in 1964 for her services to Catholic education.
