Papal Cross for altar-server

Mr. Arthur A. Samuels, who recently completed 50 years as an altar-server at SS. Peter and Paul's Church, Ilford. Essex, was presented on Sunday with the gold cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice by Bishop Beck. A.A.. Coadjutor Bishop of Brentwood, before the assembled members of the Confraternity of the Guild of St. Stephen, headed by Mr. Samuels for many years.
