VIENNA CARDINAL'S POSITION Denial of Hitler Request for Removal

A denial that Herr Hitler had requested the removal of Cardinal Innitzer, Archbishop of Vienna, has been made in authoritative circles in Vatican City this week.

"It is not impossible, however, that the situation in Vienna might be made so difficult for Cardinal Innitzer that he himself might leave Vienna for the good of the Church," it was stated.—B.U.P.

General Quelpo De Llano has been appointed head of a military mission to Italy. He is, therefore, proceeding to Rome instead of going as Ambassador to Buenos Aires.
