Conference marks 50th anniversary of Hilaire Belloc

A CONFERENCE to mark the 50th anniversary of the death of writer Hilaire Belloc will take place at Plater College, Oxford this August.
The weekend event which StarLs at lunchtime on Friday 29 August, culminating on the morning of Sunday 31 August brings together an eclectic mix of writers, priests and scholars to discuss the impact of Belloc's work and literary heritage. The distinguished list of speakers for the conference will include Fr Ian Ker on Belloc's Catholicism, Blaise Compton on Belloc's Poetry and Professor Jack Searisbrick on Belloc and the Reformation.
