Refugees hear Mass on the `Warrior'

Four priests accompanied 1,455 refugees on the three-day journey from Haiphong to Saigon aboard the British aircraft carrier H.M.S. "Warrior," released from duties in Korean waters to help in the Vietnam evacuation.

Mass at 7 o'clock each morning in the central hangar was well attended.

Two-thirds of the passengers were women and children, mostly from villages. They embarked in heavy rain.
