Sir Samuel Runganadhan, High Commissioner for India in London, who is on a visit to Italy to see Indian troops there, was received by the l'opc. The Pope also received the Archbishop of Aquila, who conveyed the population's gratitude for the Pope's efforts to spare the city from the ravages of war.
