The Word on the Wing exhibition, to be held at

Bingley Hall, Birmingham, July 5-16, will tell the Catholic story at home and in the mission field.
Examples of Catholic art, literature and crafts will be displayed on more than 80 stalls. Work in the foreign missions will be brought to life in replica Indian and African villages. A whole library of Catholic films will he continuously on show.
The exhibition is being jointly organised by the Catholic Truth Society—part of the Society's diamond jubilee celebrations—and the Society for the Propagation of the Faith.
On Saturday, July 9, the C.T.S. will hold its annual meetings in the exhibition buildings. First of these will be the Box Tenders meeting over which Mgr. Canon Coilingwood, the Society's chairman, will preside.
The annual general meeting of the Society will be presided over by Mgr. Masterson, Archbishop of Birmingham. and among the speakers will be Mgr. Beek. Coadjutor Bishop of Brentwood, and Countess Eldon.
On Sunday, July 10. there is to be a grand Catholic rally in Birmingham Town Hall at which Cardinal Griffin and Lord Pakenham will speak under the chairmanship of Archbishop Masterson.
NEW ALDERMEN
Two new Catholic Aldermen in the City of Birmingham have recently been elected, Aldermen J. Williams and J. Rigby. Alderman Rigby has for many years been a member of the Education Committee, and has been for some time a member of a committee set up by the Archbishop of Birmingham to advise him on the problems of educational development arising out of the Education, Act, 1944.
