New order of Mass in Braille

ALL blind people in Ireland who can read Braille will, it is hoped, by now have been issued with their Braille copy of the New Order of Mass by the Irish Association far the Blind. Its small Braille printing unit has for nearly 40 years supplied Ireland's blind Catholics with a regular supply of literature on religious topics.
Besides books of a religious nature the I.A.B. has also published Braille transcripts of famous Irish novels, the most popular of which have proved to be the Canon Sheehan selection and Gerald Griffin's "The Collegians." Textbooks on history, geography and literature have also been published for the two special schools together with books in the Irish language.
Ireland's only magazine in Braille type, the Blind Citizen, appears twice monthly and is sent to nearly 400 readers in more than 25 different countries. Braille readers may have copies of both the New Order of Mass and the Blind Citizen, on application to the Secretary, Irish Association for the 'Blind, 8 North Great George's Street, Dublin, I.
